Much advice has been written for the bride on her wedding day, but little is written about the effects of a wedding on the father of the bride. After all, the  bride's father usually pays for the wedding, has little say about what he is paying for, and has to willingly give his little girl away to someone else. The internal effects must be very similar to those experienced by Steve Martin in the movie "Father of the Bride" - HELP!
A lot of fathers pretend not to be interested or involved with the wedding, but most really want to know more than they lead you to believe. Special touches will make him feel very important.

Don't forget to reserve a father-daughter dance early into your wedding reception schedule.
