Here is a basic tipping guideline you can use while traveling. Feel free to increase the amounts for exceptionally good service, or to reduce for poor service.
- Doorman - $1-$2 to call or hail a cab
- Bellhop - $1 per bag
- Valet Parking Attendant - $1-$2 to park, and $1-$2 to retrieve your car
- Taxi - 15% of the fare
- Tour Guides / Drivers - $1-$2 per day
- Chambermaid - $1-$3 per day
- Waiter / Bartender - 15-20% of the bill (inquire to see if they automatically add this amount to your check)
