setting a wedding date

The first step in your wedding planning process is to decide on the date of your wedding. Using a calendar, sit down with your fiancé and family to determine two or three optional dates. Keep in mind the theme of your wedding. This will allow you to check with your wedding ceremony and reception location(s).

Season: Your wedding may center around the time of year it is scheduled. The most popular time of year for outdoor weddings is May through September, when the weather is mild in most regions of the United States. December is also a very popular month due to the festive holiday season.

Schedule: When is the most convenient time for you and your spouse to be to be able to get away and relax for your wedding and honeymoon?

Wedding Location: If you are planning a beach-themed ceremony, you will want a warm, sunny, summer date. If your theme is skiing, then you will schedule your ceremony during the winter months.
